4 Tips For Gaming On A Budget

When it comes to gaming you want to find the best games but also the best price to play those games. With our online dating for gamers website we see many members play all sorts of games from RPG to dating games. We have compiled a list of 4 of our top tips for gaming on a budget:

1. Beware of freemium games

For anybody reading this I am guessing most of you have at some point over recent years have seen so called free games in app stores or have seen the episode of South Park which parody's this gaming model. However for anybody who has not seen this once you download the game on your tablet or phone you do start playing the game for free but then to get extras and progress in the game that's when they start charging you for the add on's. I am not saying don't try these games but when you download these games go into it with your eyes open that the game isn't actually free.

2. Look out for promos

With more competition than ever in the video game world there is more opportunity's than ever to get yourself a good deal from a promo. Online gaming website such as online casinos have been doing this for awhile now when you sign up they give you a bit extra to get you started. However when it comes to video games usually a lot of high street stores offer money off new games to get you to buy them. So when your out shopping it is always worth seeing if they have any promotions going. Usually these promotions happen after Xmas when they need to get rid of the excess stock.

3. Buy in bundles

This idea has been around for awhile but it is often overlooked as an idea to save money on gaming. Usually as well as promos high street and online stores usually sell games in packages which often knock the price down on the second game your buying. So if there is two games you are after for example you should compare the price of buying them together rather than individually. Often when you buy a new console its worth checking to see what extra games they throw in for free and don't be afraid to shop around different high street and online stores to get the price price for you.

4. Trading

This is actually a growing market with both online and high street stores. High street stores such as CEX allow you to go in and trade your old games for new ones and also buy second hand games. The same principal applies to auction websites too you can sell your old games and buy new games at a good price if your willing to put the time into selling your used games and finding a good deal.

We hope this has gone some way into helping you save some money
